This organization gives more importance to Research. It gives the total knowledge of Electronic & Communication, Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering. So the style of Inter discipline available in this prestigious organization. This Institute is established during the year 2001 at 30 K.M distance to Ahmedabad. University status is provided to this Institution in the year 2003, March 6. This University is providing courses under Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The branches are B.Tech, M.Tech, and 5 years with duel degree course. With regard to M.Sc courses, Information technology, Agriculture and Rural Development, Master in Design course, PhD and Tele communication courses are available.

Generally in other Universities offer Telecommunications  or  B.Tech  Computers. But in this University the two courses are clubbed and they are offering specially to their students. In this course 120 seats are available. Based on the rank achieved in AIEEE examination, the admissions are considered for selecting candidates. In M.Tech course the students have to study two semesters in one year. Under faculty advisor guidance the Research should be completed. In this period many students of this University have a chance to obtain Assistantship of teaching or Research Assistantship posts. Out of all Students who are studying Degree Course, only 10 candidates may be allowed to study the duel degree (BTech, M.Tech).

On completion of B.Tech (6) Semesters the student must gain 2.50/4.00, with reference to their Credit point index. In course of Masters in Information Technology Programme 60 seats are made available. Who are completed this course they can seek national and international appointments as Soft ware Engineers, System analysts  and System designers.

ICT in Agriculture and Rural Development courses are designed exclusively for the students who are migrated from villages. In these Agriculture business courses, Commodity exchange, Market research analysis different opportunities are provided to the students. Only 20 admissions will be considered in these courses. In the University Campus Wi-Fi net work is made available. Audio visual equipment, internet connection facilities are provided students in their class rooms.

For Electronic, Communications, Computer networks, courses well equipped Laboratories with facilities are made available. As all of these are multi disciplinary, there are no specific branches. Total faculty comes under one branch.  Press club, Theater club, and French club are catering the demand of other activities are available for the students. Every year in the campus selections, the companies, Infosys, Microsoft, Wipro, Accenture, Patny Computer systems, Tek Mahindra, and other organizations are participating for their requirements . The semester fee is Rs. 30,000.  100% placement guarantee is provided by this DAIICT to their students who are completed their courses successfully.

There is a criticism is under circulation stating that this organization is not showing any interest to canvas their functions and activities in corporate sector. This issue has been agreed by the Management and replied that they are not interested in self canvassing. They clearly informed that they are adopting newness in courses and going ahead nationally and internationally.
