Agricultural management and Retail management in comparison with normal MBA
MBA programs pertaining to general management are present since long time. Owing to different requirements of the companies, gradually many special MBA courses have been designed. Agricultural management, retail management and service management are some of these special kinds of MBA. These are called functional specializations. It is the right procedure to select specialization in MBA based on the subjects in graduation, interest and personality of an individual.
To enter into agricultural management, one needs to have agricultural subject at his/her graduation level. There are no such essential eligibilities for most of the other kinds of functional specializations. Any graduation will be enough. It is better to gain minimum work experience after completing graduation. It works as foundation for career. Along with agriculture, retail management, there are many specializations available, such as construction and infrastructure management, banking and finance, health care, hospitality, tourism and others. They help in gaining complete knowledge on a particular field and to improve skills in that related field. One can select the specialization based on their interest and abilities.
