Indian Institute of Aeronautics, New Delhi, and National Institute of Aeronautics, Dehradun and other recognized institutes are sponsoring the course of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. The duration of time for this degree course is three and half years (3 ½ years). The candidates who passed the Intermediate examination with MPC group with minimum 50% marks are eligible to seek the admission in this course.
Generally, the institutes which are offering this course will conduct the entrance examination independently for providing admissions to the eligible candidates. The students who have desire to join in this course in a particular year, they have to apply in that year in the month of May. On completion of this course a license will issued, by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCI). With this license the candidates can work at any where in the world.
