On completion of B. Pharmacy, generally the candidates may join as a chemist or Pharmacist. The candidates are under impression that there are no immediate jobs for their qualification. All the pharmacy completed candidates are thinking on these lines only. If they secured job they may feel happiness, and they have to keep full stop for their higher studies. But the field of pharmaceuticals is improving and expanding day by day on very speed.

In drugs manufacturing our country is occupying a big platform. The candidates who have studied the higher education are having very good demand. At present the job market is facing the scarcity of M.Pharmacy candidates and PhD candidates. For B.Pharmacy qualification candidates the higher studies like M. Pharmacy, and M.B.A. Pharma specialized courses are available. As per the present demand the pharmacy candidates have to complete their higher education so as to gain job opportunities in this field.

M.PHARMACY (MASTER OF PHARMACY).

In our country the course of M.Pharmacy is having 8 specialization courses. In these courses the Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical (Medicinal) Chemistry Pharmacognacy and quality assurance are very important. The each specialization course is having very good demand in the job market.

The Pharma Education and Research & National Institute of Pharmacy Education & Research (NIPER) international recognition institutes are offering the M.S (Pharma) courses.

Generally to do P.G. in pharmacy, the B.Pharmacy qualification is compulsory. But in the NIPER the M Sc Chemical sciences and life sciences candidates are permitted to do in P.G. Pharmacy. The NIPER institutions are situated in 6 places in our country. To get admission in these 6 centers, the GATE score and the pass in the NIPER common entrance test examination are compulsory.
