Can a student appear for CSIR while studying M. Sc Pharmaceutical chemistry from Telangana University

One can write CSIR test only if he or she scores at least 55% in PG. Reserved candidates have the  relaxation of minimum marks by 5%. Students can compete in chemical sciences subject also. Two papers will be present in this test. One is objective and the other is descriptive. Notification has been released for CSIR-UGC CET which is going to be held in December. Last date for applying is 31^st August 2010. One can do PhD from famous institutes through getting JRF in CSIR test. Institutes like NIPER are giving doctorial fellowship without considering CSIR. Those who have experience of working in industries, can try to complete PhD in foreign countries.
