Most of the students will get a doubt about the difference between MBA and PGDBM course. Master of business administration is the master degree in business administration and this course is introduced to the students in the subjects like accounting, finance, marketing, human resources and operation management. Few MBA programs are giving the option to the students to select more than one specialization. Only recognized universities are offering MBA degree. PGDBM course is the post graduation course in business management. Only the AICTE recognized universities are offering this course. Generally, institutes which are not having the relation with any university will get the recognization of AICTE to offer the diploma in post graduate courses.
Another important difference between the candidates who complete MBA and PGDBM is that MBA candidates can do PhD after the course completion but PGDBM candidates can’t do this course only few institutions are having the recognization. They are having the chances of doing PhD in the PGDBM course only when it is equivalent to MBA course and is recognized by AICTE. So candidates who want to do research in the subject should join in the PGDBM course after knowing the complete details. There are placement options for the both MBA and PGDBM candidates. Business school is the organization which is confined to the education, training and research related to management course. All the name and fame of the B-schools is a result of management courses only. So demand for B-schools had been increased and there are chances of providing good education to the students in the deemed universities in management courses but they will be one step backwards in branding. Planning the lessons, projects, teaching methods and facilities will be good in the business schools when compared to most of the universities. In the same way, all the business schools are not equal and candidates should be very careful in selecting the business school when more number of institutes are there.
