DSC 2012 eligibility rules amended-Secondary education dept. issued DSC 2012 rules GO
DSC 2012 eligibility rules changed
A GO has been issued by Secondary Education Chief Secretary on 30.1.2012 amending the rules of eligibility of DSC 2012. Now the candidates who studied sericulture, horticulture, forestry and poultry courses also become eligible for applying to Assistant Biological science posts in DSC 2012. The rule which stated that candidates who are appearing for a particular subject test should have studied the subject in Intermediate level has raised many objections. The rule has also said that candidates appearing for school assistant posts in Mathematics, Physical sciences, Biological sciences and social studies should have studied physical Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and any one two of the subjects Civics, Economics, Commerce, History and Geography in Intermediate are only eligible for DSC 2012. This rule has been removed through the present GO. Thus the candidates who studied MPC or BPC in Intermediate and who have graduation in Arts subjects will be eligible for DSC 2012. BEd studied candidates who have Open University degree will also be eligible for DSC 2012.
