Students who completed degree are eligible for the course and the popular institute which is offering journalism in India is Indian Institute of Mass Communication in Delhi. There is a branch of IIMC in Orissa. All the universities in Andhra Pradesh are offering MCJ/MJMC/MA courses in mass communication. The courses are provided in English language. Few universities are providing the admissions only for the students who did MCJ course. Students with any degree can join in MA (communication) course offered by Hyderabad Central University. Potti Sri Ramulu University is offering PG course in mass communication for two years in Telugu medium. Sakshi Academy of Journalism is providing one year PG course for the students based on the vacancies. Students are selected based on written exam and interview. Stipend is also provided during the course. After that they should perform their duty as trainer. To settle as journalist in English papers, they should complete one year PG diploma course offered by Asian College of Journalism in Chennai, Times Journalism College which belongs to Times in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. Notifications will be released every year for the admissions.
