EXAMINATION MODEL OF JMET
For engineering education – technical researches the I.I.Ts are very famous. In these institutes the Management programmes have been introduced on the main reason to support the technical knowledge duly adding the management skills. In this matter, at first time during year 1993, the I.I.T Garakhpur, has introduced the P.G. programme of management, further the same course has been extended to all the I.I.Ts and I.I.S.C Bangalore. In the model of CAT examination which is conducted for admissions in I.I.M the JMET is formed. For 500 available seats, competition is in thousands number in every year. .
The speed, strictness, sensitive examination, knowledge of language, expression of idea are the important factors in JMET. To get success in this examination the five factors are useful as formulae to the candidates.
In 3 hours examination question paper, 4 section questions will be given. In these examinations the candidates have to gain good marks and best rank. Therefore the candidates have to plan to make each minute fruitful for their success. The candidates should posses well practice in calculations of the values, from 2 x 2 = 4 to 2000 square immediately in their mind. Further the knowledge of language is compulsory on the new words from Apple to Oxford advanced learners dictionary. The method of negative marks procedure is in the JMET examination. Therefore to gain success in this examination the student should be very active and to initiate sensitive care on each issue.
THE CHANGES
In the JMET, examination particularly in the branches of verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation, quantitative ability, logical reasoning wings, in each branch 30 questions have to be answered by the candidates. In every year the examination pattern will be changed to some extent. In the total examination procedure the candidates may not found changes but the section wise changes will be found by them
