How to prepare for JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical and Research) entrance test
It is one of the prestigious institutes among medical colleges of India. Yanam, present near to Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh comes to Pondicherry territory, so the students of Andhra Pradesh are aware of this medical college. Even, there are more numbers of students appearing for this exam from Andhra Pradesh. Total numbers of seats are 100 while the numbers of seats allotted for the students of states other than Pondicherry are 26. Among them, 15 to 17 seats are often achieved by students of Andhra Pradesh. All are multiple choice questions only. Questions are equally distributed among the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany. The average seat getting mark is 167. English is given highest prominence in this exam also. If command is had on English, 140 questions out of remaining 160 can be answered easily. A good rank can be got in JIPMER even half an hour a day is allotted for studying English.
