Institutes offering land surveying courses | Land surveyors can start self employment if they are licensed
The real estate business is increasing day by day and land surveying is the course which helps in measuring the land and designing the layout. The main goal of land surveying is limit the measurements according to government records and preparing blueprints accordingly.
Opportunities for land surveyors:
There are good opportunities in the real estate and construction fields for the people who got certificates in land surveying. The main employment sources are architecture organizations, special economic zones and survey of India. They can practice on their own if they get recognized as licensed surveyor.
Courses for land surveyors:
In surveyor training, there are certificate courses (3 months) and diploma (6 months to 2 years) courses. They can get the recognization as the licensed surveyor if they qualify the land training exam conducted by the government.
Salary:
In the beginning, they can get Rs.10,000 to Rs.20,000 per month and in self employment, they can get based on the assignment.

You can do site land surveyor course from construction industry vocational training council, 18 anand industrial estate, mohan nagar, ghaziabad-201007. It is three month vocational course including plane table, autolavel, theodilite and total station if you can do GPS, facility is also avaiabe here.

can any one please recommend me universities that offers land surveying in india, i am prensently studying surveying in polytechnic,but surveying studies in nigeria is not ecouraging, i want to specialise more on engineering surveying office work. i want to know how to design road, bridge, drain culvert, dan etc. or any country that is very good in this area of my intend courses, but not in an expensive country. i am also working with setraco nig ltd as a survey secretary where i reduce all kind of levelling job, ploting with autocad land development 2006,creates alignment, profile, cross-section,contours using of leveling instrument,but to me this are notthing i really want be a proffession survey engineer.(amajirionwumoses@yahoo.com). please send me a mail advice me, tell me things i should know.
