Is CAT necessary for MBA? | How to get admission into MBA in India?

In India, more than 500 institutes are offering MBA program at different levels. One needs to appear for CAT, MAT, JAT, ICET and other entrance tests or the entrance test conducted by the institute to get admitted into this course. Management aptitude test has to be cleared to get admission into institutes which don’t come under CAT. Xavier and Symbiosis institutes conduct own tests. ICET has to be cleared to get admission into MBA in Andhra Pradesh. Based on ranking in the entrance test, admission will be given. College can be selected based on one’s interest.
