Job opportunities for B.Tech (ECE). Project work and procedure of application
There’ are many opportunities for those who complete B.Tech with electronics and communications. Many companies in the government and private sector are offering jobs for these candidates. In the government sector, good jobs can be got by attempting Indian Engineering Services (IES) conducted by Union Public Commission. Companies like DRDO, ISRO and others are directly conducting interviews for ECE candidates based on merit. These candidates have good opportunities in Heavy Industries like BARK, BHEL, NTPC, ECIL and government research organizations also. To get government jobs merit in B.Tech along with technical knowledge is necessary.
In the private sector companies software companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and other companies in the communications field are providing good opportunities. To get job in private sector companies technical knowledge along with communication and soft skills is necessary.
It takes 2 to 3 months for the final year students in JNTU to complete the project. But project is not a compulsory task in some universities. Minimum two months before should be applied for companies for project and internship
