Job opportunities with M.Sc. Zoology

M.Sc Zoology belongs to basic sciences. Presently, only few students are taking up this subject. Zoology subject students can opt for bio-technology, pharma, bio-informatics and other specializations in higher education. The candidates can have opportunities in the teaching field. The main eligibility for science students is to get fellowship from CSIR, DBT or ICMR. If it is not possible, candidates can join in any projects conducted by companies. PhD registration can be done with GATE score. There is a chance of doing PhD in some places if project experience is present, though GATE score is not present. MBA can also be selected according to candidate’s interest. Thereby candidates can try for management jobs in pharma, life sciences and related companies.
