The officials have announced that DSC 2012 will be given 80% weightage as TET is given 20% weightage while announcing the DSC 2012 notification on 30.1.2012. 21,343 teachers posts will be filled through this notification. The question paper of DSC 2012 will consist of 160 question unlike previous years DSC which consisted of 200 questions. Total marks for DSC 2012 question paper are 80. Time given for the exam is two and half hours. Earlier the duration of the exam was three hours. Vacancies in Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad, government, tribal welfare, municipal managements which are sanctioned under RMSA were announced by the government in DSC 2012 notification.
Age of the candidates who are desirous to apply for DSC 2012 should be between 18 and 39 years. However relaxation of 5 years is given for SC/ST/BC candidates and 10 years relaxation is given for physically handicapped candidates. The details of post wise eligibility for DSC 2012 will be made available to the candidates in the information bulletin. Candidates have to take the test in the same district in which they want to be posted
